“During the latter half of my senior year of high school, I felt a sudden urge to leave something behind before I graduate. So I decided to make this film as a love letter to my high school, thanking the place for nurturing me to adulthood. There is a saying at my high school: Earn your sword. And there are 4 pillars of excellence engraved on the walls and in each student’s heart: Athletics, Activities, Acceptance, and Academics. These were the things that constantly reminded me every day I went to school, and they laid the foundation for this film.“
